Merry Christmas in Ohio
Friday December 22 2006 @ 11:03 pm

Today began with the usual scramble as we prepared to leave Jersey for Columbus. Debbie and I woke up around 6:30am. I showered and then packed. The most heart-wrenching decision is usually trying to figure out which pairs of denim to bring. I settled on a pair of Blue Cults, the Earnest Sewn raw pair I picked up at Kitson, a pair of Paper Denim from Rugged Wearhouse and I wore a dark pair of Seven’s. Later on Debbie headed out for Gas, bagels and Broadcast Corned Beef Hash. I ate oatmeal and a latte and finished packing. I ended up with 4 bags: My main clothes bag, the garment bag with my suit, some button downs and a shirt and tie for Christmas, my backpack with baseball mitts and a football and my laptop. Thank goodness we weren’t flying.

Lillian slept later than usual until 8:20am or so. After packing up the car and emptying out the trash we were off at around 9:00am. Not bad.
