Debbie announced that she was taking me to a surprise location for lunch today. Sounded good to me. After a morning playing with Lillian and trying to get her to take naps we left for lunch around 12:30pm. We drove west towards Colts Neck and then Freehold until we arrived at our surprise locaiton - Jersey Freeze. Jersey Freeze is a joint with a separate burger and ice cream locations in the same building. We checked out the ice cream part and then headed in for lunch. Debbie got a pork roll sandwich on a hard roll and I got a very good and very big burger - California style.

Afterwards we headed to the ice cream part. They had a huge selection of non-fat and sugar-free soft ice creams so I got one. Debbie got one with jimmies.

Afterwards we stopped at the Freehold Mall and Nordstrom where I wanted to find a pair of Kenzie wedges for Debbie that I had seen online. Sadly they were nowhere to be found in the shoe department so I grabbed myself some socks instead. Not as fun.

For dinner we decided on grilling some filets that I had been saving in the freezer. We took a short walk to the A&P for sides and stopped in at the newly opened children’s consignment store which was fairly well stocked and a great place to unload a lot of the stuff that Lillian has outgrown or can’t use anymore.
